Matzah Plates Guide. On Passover we place the Matzo on a special plate specifically meant for Matzah on Pesach, this plate is known as a Matzah plate. Matzo is the unleavened bread which is traditionally eaten by Jews during the Passover holiday, at a time when eating Chametz which is bread or other foods containing leavened grain is forbidden. Handmade by Joy Stember in Pennsylvania. Powdercoated aluminum, anodized aluminum, and brass. Approx. 10"Sq. x 2"T. Each Joy Stember piece is handmade. Hand wash with mild soap and water. Dry thoroughly to avoid spotting and pitting. Do not soak overnight. Avoid any detergent with lemon or other acidic agents. Keep products that are not used for food consumption away from children.
