Alice+Olivia Sheer Silvia Trench Coat

The trench coat has quite the back story – it was first utilised by the military as a lighter alterative to heavy wool coats, where it was crafted from water-resistant gabardine. However, in the hands of alice + olivia, the design is turned on its head. The Silvia style might retain the trench’s lapels, belt and buckled cuffs, but its sheer organza body is somewhat more revealing – and certainly not weather-proof.
