Antinori Tignanello 2021 - Tuscany, Italy

Tignanello has always been at the forefront of winemaking, aligning with the best traditions but always embracing innovation. It was the first Sangiovese to be aged in barriques, the first contemporary red to be blended with Cabernet, and one of the first in the Chianti Classico region that didn’t use white grapes. This 2021 vintage contains notes of ripe plums, blackberries and candied orange peels, giving it a fruity flavour profile that leads to subtle hints of dark chocolate, caramel and liquorice. This rich palate is defined by vibrant tannins followed by a lasting finish.
