Creative director Demna Gvasalia is widely credited for reigniting the Balenciaga label. It's mostly thanks to his contemporary-cool footwear - such as the chunky-soled Runner sneakers - that explains the brand's resurgence in popularity. Offering up a futuristic take on the eclectic ‘90s sneaker trend, the style features panels of nylon and mesh, multi-coloured details and an elevated heel.
