The first Brunello di Montalcino was produced in 1888 through the hands of Ferruccio Biondi Santi. Since then, the impressive red has remained just as esteemed and with the same extreme longevity. Aged in Slavonian oak barrels for 36 months before bottling, this 2017 vintage reveals fresh cherry notes, a taste typical of high-altitude Sangiovese wines.
