Boohoo Women'S Peplum Hem Knitted Cardigan In Black | Size: Medium

Knitted peplum hem flares out from the waist, adding shape and movement without adding bulk - it sits just below the hip and swings slightly as you move. Ribbed throughout the body with a smooth knit on the sleeves, giving the piece two distinct textures that work together rather than compete. Button-through front fastening runs from the round neckline to the waist, so it can be worn fully open as a layer or done up for a more structured look. Long sleeves with ribbed cuffs that grip gently at the wrist, keeping the fit neat without feeling restrictive. Round neckline sits close to the base of the throat - high enough to feel polished, low enough to layer over a collared shirt or roll-neck. The peplum detail is doing the real work here. The ribbed bodice sits fitted through the torso, then releases into a soft flare at the waist that gives the silhouette a defined, waisted shape without anything being tight. It's the kind of top that looks considered even when you've thrown it on quickly. The model pairs it with wide-leg trousers in a light wash, and that contrast - structured knit on top, relaxed trouser below - is exactly the kind of balance this cardigan is built for. It also works tucked loosely into a midi skirt for a Sunday lunch or a low-key catch-up with friends. Button it all the way up and it reads almost like a knitted blouse. Leave the lower buttons undone over high-waisted jeans and it takes on a more casual, thrown-together feel. Either way, it earns its place across a good chunk of your weekly rotation. | boohoo Women's Peplum Hem Knitted Cardigan in Black | Size: Medium
