Château Labégorce has a long history in Margaux. At the time of the French Revolution, the estate had already been in the Gorce family for centuries. Today the vineyard consists of fifty-seven north-east sloping hectares. Vines average thirty years old, with some planted in the early 1900s. Floral Margaux elegance is present on the nose here, and the palate shows an appetizing blend of black fruit and savoury, spicy notes. Good concentration and a long, poised finish.
