Bruichladdich Bruichladdich 1984 Rare Cask Series Whisky (70Cl)

Bruichladdich's 1984 is derived from 12 casks of classic Bourbon-aged Bruichladdich. Filled in 1984, it was left untouched until 2008 when the master distiller, Jim Mc Ewan re-casked it into fresh bourbon for an exquisite taste. With a colour mimicking an Islay sunrise, it has a great presence on the palate with a syrupy texture to match. Evoking aromas of crème brulee, buttercup and orange zest, it gently warms the palate and opens to reveal a touch of leather, toasted oak and praline, while sweet citrus and mango lend it a juicy finish.
