Château Ausone Bordeaux Blend 2000 - Saint-Émilion, France

Prestigious and highly regarded, Château Ausone is considered to be one of the greatest estates in Bordeaux – along with Château Cheval Blanc, it was one of only two to hold the highest classification of Premier Grand Cru Classé A. The estate's 2000 vintage is defined by ripe red fruits on the palate, given dimension as if they were poured over stones and salty minerals. What’s more, the wine is still young – so young that it could happily live in your cellar for 60 to 80 years.
