Château L'Evangile’s vineyard is made up of iron-rich clay and gravel soils, lending itself well to the growth of Merlot which the 2022 vintage favours. Aged in oak for 18 months, this deep, black-purple wine has a slow-opening palate that reveals hedonistic notes of black fruit and a fine, silky structure with a graphite finish.
