Founded in 2012, it is named for its designer, Gauri Kohli, who directs every form, material and finish.What It Is:Cotton and wool, embroidered into a pillow whose entire face is worked in wool - amber and olive paisley forms tossed at varying angles above a slate blue ground that is itself fully stitched. Coral filler motifs sit close between them. No woven fabric shows anywhere on the front.a face stitched edge to edge in wool is denser and heavier than a printed cover, and it does not crush into creases the way flat fabric does. The reverse is plain white, so this one has a front and nothing else.
