Gosset, the oldest winery in the Champagne region (opening its doors in 1584), has produced outstanding wines for over five hundred years and this Grande Réserve Brut is no exception. With a palate of Melba toast, roasted almonds, praline and light coffee flavours, it fades into the crisp yet transient tones of confectionery chestnut and caramel.Top quality Champagne from one of the oldest houses Gosset (founded in 1584!). The Grand Réserve is made with 43% Chardonnay, 43% Pinot Noir and 15% Pinot Meunier, and would make for a brilliant aperitif. Vibrantly fruity on the nose with white peach, apple and a touch of red berry, joined by elegant bubbles carrying vanilla rich brioche, lemon and a chalky hint on the palate.
