The Olfactory Notes: Un Jardin sous la Mer is a floral and musky eau de toilette that combines a radiant tiare flower with the enveloping character of the tamanu nut and mineral notes that evoke the coral reef. The Object: Designed by Fred Rawyler, the bottle is inspired by the lines of horse-drawn carriage lanterns. Its graduated shades of blue reflect the azure sky and the crystalline waters of the lagoon around Taha & apos;a. The box features watercolor illustrations by artist Aino-Maija Metsola, depicting the vibrant life and colors of the coral reef. The Hermès Detail: For each Parfum-Jardin, the House invites an artist to illustrate the box, giving them carte blanche to create a poetic expression of the garden through drawing.
