Jordan 1 Retro BHM (2017)

The Jordan 1 Retro BHM (2017) was released to honor the rich African-American heritage during the 2017 Black History Month.

In line with the event that inspires it, this Jordan 1 adopts a primary black colorway. As such, the leather mudguard overlay with a textured finish has a dark hue similar to the vamp fitted with numerous perforations for ventilation. Metallic gold accents adorn the swoosh on the quarter panels. Instead of the usual stitching, these shoes’ swooshes bind to the leather via a Velcro closure. The same style applies to the BHM stickers on the tongue logo. However, the golden Wings logo on the ankles is embroidered. In a bid to blend with the rest of the shoe, the sole and the AF1 deubré are also black.

StockX experts think the metallic gold accents on the tongue and swooshes are the most outstanding features of this high top. Its simple design with minimal branding and a monochrome colorway also contributes to classic footwear. The Jordan 1 Retro BHM (2017) was released on February 16th, 2017, with a $150 retail price.
