The Mizunara oak's delicate wood is among the rarest casks in the world, and is considered one of the finest in which to mature whisky. After maturing, Kayio's The Kuri embarks on its final maturation at sea, leaving from Osaka only to head back to Japan to be bottled for a fully authentic heritage blend.
