Initially refusing to join the family denim business, kapital creative director Kiro Hirata was enthralled with American vintage wear during his studies in the United States. Returning to his native Japan, it was the main reference for his label to recreate the category’s enduring appeal with pieces such as this woven overshirt and its workwear-inspired twin pockets.
