Born from the desire to create a Rosé Champagne that’s unique year after year, Krug turns to its archives by including a selection 29 wines from five different years in the 29th edition of the blend. While reserve wines make up 33% of the bottle, the rest is a classic mix of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, with a small amount of the Pinot Noir grapes traditionally macerated on the skins. About KrugSince 1843, Krug has devoted itself exclusively to prestige Champagnes, remaining the only House to craft every cuvée in small oak casks. Across six generations, its alchemy has been perfected through extended malolactic fermentation and patient ageing – each blend released only after passing the most rigorous taste tests.
