Made purely with Cortese grapes, La Scolca’s Gavi dei Gavi celebrates the viticulture of its namesake mountain village in the foothills of the Apennines in Piedmont, Italy. The 2024 vintage is the result of biodynamic farming on the estate’s 60-year-old vines, which results in an effortless white with attractive aromas like almonds, toast and ripe peaches. Crisp on the palate and with nuanced minerality in its long finish, it makes a wonderful accompaniment to light fish dishes, seafood and leafy, green salads or can equally be enjoyed solo as a refreshing aperitif.
