Such is the subtitle of Max Mara's Sfilata collection, a name translating to 'parade' from the brand's native Italian. Inspired by the female recruits of the 1940s Land Army in England, the starting point of the capsule is Vita Sackville-West's writings on the story of the Land Girls, their uniform consisting of workwear-inspired pieces that the label updates with earth-tones and structured silhouettes for modern glamour. Take the Pacos raincoat as a prime example, a canvas piece with water-repellent properties with four large pockets and a trench-coat-inspired, waist-cinching belt.
