Nike Air Max 97 Metallic Hematite

The Nike Air Max 97 Metallic Hematite is a retro runner dressed in a colorway inspired by iron ore. The 3M reflective aspects on the upper not only glow in the dark, but also appear as silvery threading in the underlays.

The Metallic Hematite Nike Air Max 97 starts with an upper base of black mesh overlaid with wavy strips of leather in different shades of black from toe cap to heel, giving this shoe the iconic AM97 look. In a mesh window just above the black synthetic mudguard, a tonal Nike Swoosh is visible. Black laces match the padded black mesh tongue, sock liner, and insole. Pull tabs on the heel and tongue facilitate on/off. This stealthy upper rests on a black foam midsole with a visible full-length unit of Max Air for cushioning and spring. The dark gray and black rubber outsole provides durable grip as it absorbs impact.
