Nike Zoom Superfly Elite 2 Barely Volt

Nike creates sneakers for just about every sport these days, but the brand got its start by designing track and field sneakers back in the 1960s and 1970s. It continues to contribute to the T&F community today by unveiling racing spikes like the Nike Zoom Superfly Elite 2 Barely Volt.

This track and field spike has an upper made out of AtomKnit, which is an updated version of Nike's Flyknit fabric, that has been stretched to make it lightweight, breathable, and impervious to moisture. It also includes a plate that was designed using data collected from hundreds of track and field runners. It comes with eight stainless-steel pins that can be removed when they aren't needed, as well as an outsole that's built to make this shoe stiff on the track.

The Barely Volt, Dynamic Turquoise, and Hyper Orange colors make it impossible to miss, both on and off the track. The Nike Zoom Superfly Elite 2 Barely Volt was released on November 16, 2021, for a $150 retail price.
