Throughout his life, Virgil Abloh devoted himself to a design philosophy of borrowing, remixing and recontextualising – and no motif echoes this quite like Off-White’s Arrows logo. It’s a little-known fact that the original design took inspiration from mid-20th century British transport and airport graphics: a system that prioritises clarity, direction and movement, using bold arrows and geometric forms.
