Petrus 1995 - Bordeaux, France

Reigning as one of the most notable estates in Bordeaux, producing one of Pomerol’s most important wines, Château Petrus’ blends are endlessly collectable. The label dates back to 1837 – although it came into favour in 1962 when bought by the Moueix family – and grows its Merlot grapes on a seven-hectare, clay-based vineyard, where every berry is hand-picked after the morning dew has evaporated. The 1995 red wine features a nose of pain grille, black fruits and roasted coffee, while a rich palate is elevated by full-bodied tannins.
