Shafer Red Shoulder Ranch Chardonnay 2024 - Napa Valley, California

The Red Shoulder Ranch Chardonnay derives its name from the hawks that orbit the Napa Valley vineyard and play an important part in Shafer’s sustainable viticulture. Maturing on the lees for 14 months, its lively natural acidity is due to it undergoing no malolactic fermentation. A flinty minerality and bright honeydew melon notes add lift to the fresh, energetic palate, while a lithe structure creates a sense of poise.
