Craven The Firs Vineyard Syrah Red Wine 750ml

The Craven estate is run by the husband and wife team Mick and Jeanine Craven, respectively from Australia and South Africa. The Firs Vineyard red wine stems from the latter country (the region of Stellenbosch, to be precise), with the grapes harvested from isolated (and organically farmed) vineyards so that they can more accurately represent the unique soils and microclimates. The Syrah variety is one of the couple’s favourites, and here offers notes of allspice, pepper, black fruits and leather.
