Born in Tucson, Arizona, Raymond Pettibon came to prominence for his work in the punk rock scene in the 1980s. He is most well known for his creation of the Black Flag logo. His drawings are often comic-like in nature, but feature harsh and ironic text alongside the stark black and white images.
