The Virgil Abloh Brooklyn Museum Abloh Torch Hat Black is a polyester foam baseball cap with a mesh back, rope detail, and snap back, done in Black. Abloh branding, as an oval logo with a torch in the middle, is printed on the front of the hat. A folded green Abloh branded insert is placed on the side interior of the hat, visible through the mesh.

Virgil Abloh’s life and legacy was cut short in 2021, when he passed on at age 41. Prior to his passing, American designer Abloh made a name for himself as a designer, famed for his interdisciplinary style. In 2022, the Brooklyn Museum showed Figures of Speech, an exhibition of artifacts from Abloh’s clothing label Off-White and his time at Louis Vuitton, among other eras of his career.
