Burberry Silk Check Sweater

First appearing as a lining in Burberrys coats, the Vintage check took centre stage in the ‘60s. During a visit by Sir Patrick Reilly, Jacqueline Dillemman - a buyer in the Paris store - utilised the material as an umbrella cover. Today, the design is a sign of the Houses touch, realised on this silk sweater through a jacquard knit.
