Immortalised through Fornasetti, it was the opera singer Lina Cavalieri who spurred the Italian designer to create the collection ‘Tema e Variazioni’...and here she is once again on this ceramic plate. The muse tries to go incognito with a metallic eye patch, but it’s obvious it’s her.
