After eating waffles one morning for breakfast, lightbulbs went off in Bill Bowerman's head as he realised the potential for a running shoe that could compete on a multitude of surfaces. From this, the Phoenix Waffle was born. This iteration sees a vintage red, white, and blue colourway reminiscent of the Blue Ribbon sports days, executed atop a real and synthetic leather upper. Increased midsole height offers up heightened elevation alongside comfortable balance, while a redesigned Waffle tread keeps things light at the base. | FZ3600-072
