Burberrys iconic checks were first incorporated by the brand to line its signature raincoats in the 1920s. Ever since, the British label has been synonymous with the preppy pattern. Since taking over at its helm, chief creative officer Daniel Lee has reinvented several of the Houses checked motifs, such as the one adorning these wool trousers, as a means to simultaneously honour its past and look to a bright future - mission accomplished.
