In 1935, Albert Fouquet journeyed to Egypt to visit a childhood friend. Captivated by the ancient culture, essences and scents, the perfume connoisseur was inspired to create the Egypt eau de parfum. This fragrance opens with the bright notes of lavender and lemon, then bursts into an aromatic heart of cardamom and nutmeg, before settling into a rich, heady base of leather, patchouli, and sandalwood.
