Nike Air Foamposite One Safari

A singular shoe popularized by NBA star Penny Hardaway, the Nike Air Foamposite One Safari dresses this silhouette in eye-catching style that elevates its undeniable comfort and high-performance capability.

The Safari Nike Air Foamposite One is made completely of molded polyurethane Foamposite throughout the upper. In this iteration of the shoe, the upper is black, speckled with multi-sized white dots to give it a safari motif. Solid black covers the shoe starting at the toebox, running up the eye stays, coursing over the collar, and forming the heel counter. The pull tab on the heel and tongue are also black, as is the mud guard at the midfoot plate. The midsole composed of stacked foam is styled to seamlessly blend in with the upper. The outsole is icy translucent rubber surrounding black rubber pods with herringbone traction.

What we love most about this shoe are the hits of orange branding throughout. A Nike Swoosh appears on the eye stays, and the Penny Hardaway One Cent logo appears on the tongue tag, heel counter, and outsole. The Nike Air Foamposite One Safari was released on November 27, 2013, for $235 retail.
