The body is natural and warm, the weave close enough to hold underfoot but open enough that recycled denim woven through reads as scattered blue beneath. The border is bound in the same denim.An open lattice passes crumbs and grit through to the floor beneath, which is worth knowing before it goes under a dining table - sweep under it, not just over it. Jute is coarser than wool underfoot and stays that way.
