Alheit Vineyards was founded (by husband and wife team Chris and Suzaan Alheit) as recently as 2010 – but it’s already one of South Africa’s most talked about vintners. And its flagship tipple? The buttery, complex Cartology. Described by the brand as “a vinous exploration of Cape heritage”, it’s so named because like a map, it aims to paint a picture of the Cape through its wine growing heritage.
