The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired By Fresh Coconut

A connection to nature runs deep in The Macallan’s almost 200-year history, inspiring Harmony Collection’s exploration of innovation and renewal. In this case, the natural black colour of the box and label are produced from discarded coconut coir and shells, lending a unique starting point for Inspired by Fresh Coconut. On the nose, fresh coconut, citrus notes and tropical fruits – think mango and papaya – are layered with vanilla, sweet oak and almond, grounded by a hint of nutmeg and cinnamon. The palate bursts with sweet lime, vanilla sponge with desiccated coconut, icing sugar, coconut milk and dried tropical fruits, while the finish is suitably celebratory with coconut and floral honey.
