The BAPE x Banksy Brandalism Flower Bomber Sculpture in Green is a 14-inch tall (360mm) three-dimensional collectible figure produced through a collaboration between A BATHING APE and Brandalism, dressing Banksy's iconic Flower Bomber artwork in BAPE's signature green ABC CAMO pattern while leaving only the flowers in their original colors, faithfully preserving the artistic message of the original stencil while applying BAPE's most recognizable visual identity to the full figure. The Flower Bomber artwork, also known as Love Is in the Air, first appeared in 2003 on the West Bank Wall separating Israel and Palestine, depicting a masked figure in a militant outfit throwing a bouquet of flowers in a powerful symbol of peaceful resolution, rendered in Banksy's characteristic black and white stencil style with the flowers appearing in color as the artwork's only chromatic element. The BAPE edition is the third major sculptural version of the Flower Bomber produced through Brandalism, following Brandalism and MEDICOM TOY's white version released in 2015 and the black edition in 2019, with BAPE's ABC CAMO treatment making this the most commercially streetwear-coded and most brand-specific expression of the Flower Bomber in sculptural form. The Green ABC CAMO covering the figure connects the politically charged Banksy imagery to BAPE's most culturally loaded pattern — a combination that creates a collector object at the intersection of street art, anti-advertising activism, and Japanese streetwear that is unique in both brands' respective histories.
