Do not burn for more than 5 hours at once. Avoid using in drafty areas. To reduce sooting, keep the wick trimmed to 1/4 inch (6 mm) at all times, including when relit. Do not allow wick trimmings to accumulate in the wax pool. Remove the dust cover and other packaging before burning. The candle will be hot when lit.
