Boohoo Women'S Keyhole Cape Top In Black | Size: 16

The keyhole neckline is the defining detail here - a small, precise cutout at the centre front that breaks up the otherwise clean, rounded neckline without overpowering the silhouette. Cape-style overlay drapes loosely from the shoulders, falling in wide, sweeping panels that move with every step rather than staying fixed against the body. The semi-sheer outer layer sits over a more opaque underlayer, creating a subtle two-tone depth effect without requiring anything underneath. Cropped at the hip with an asymmetric, draped hem that dips slightly at the sides - it skims rather than clings, making it an easy piece to throw on. Wide, open sleeves extend to the mid-forearm and hang with a relaxed, batwing-like drape that keeps the overall shape feeling loose and unstructured. This top works best when the rest of the outfit is kept simple - it already does a lot on its own. The model pairs it with straight-leg trousers, which is exactly the right call; the volume of the cape needs a clean, fitted base to balance against. High-waisted tailored trousers or wide-leg trousers in a matching tone would carry the same effect, letting the draped overlay take centre stage. For footwear, a pointed-toe flat or a simple block-heel sandal keeps things grounded without competing. Add a small hoop earring, as seen on the model, and the look is complete without feeling overdressed. This is the kind of top that earns its place in a wardrobe rotation because it reads as considered without requiring much effort - it's a strong choice for a birthday dinner, a casual evening out, or any occasion where you want to look put-together but still comfortable in what you're wearing. | boohoo Women's Keyhole Cape Top in Black | Size: 16
