In 1808, Apolline Henriot created the historic cuvée, Henriot Brut Souverain, as she aspired to illuminate her lands through the creation of a delicious Champagne. Mission accomplished. The glistening bubbles in this bottle are a complete credit to its place of inspiration. Dubbed a “ballet of aromas” the sweet notes of cake and fresh citrus are combined with an exuberance of smoke – with a few stoned and red fruits thrown in for good measure. It’s an ode to the region.
