Emerging from Antwerp's avant-garde design scene in the 1990s, Maison Margiela made a name for itself with its experimental and often conceptual approach to design. Redrafting the crisp cotton shirt, this immortal design is panelled in blocks of white and baby blue, and features a classic collar, long sleeves with buttoned cuffs and a concealed front fastening. The otherwise ordinary silhouette is given the Margiela treatment by its side slit hem, oversized fit and spray painted orange stripe.
