The Montblanc 1858 Collection is inspired by the professional Minerva watches from the 1920s and 1930s which were conceived for military use and exploration. Reinterpreting these historical timepieces, the Montblanc 1858 product line expresses the spirit of mountain exploration, embodying the modern trend of returning to nature. The Montblanc 1858 Geosphere is dedicated to the world's Seven Summit mountaineering challenge, the holy grail of mountaineering adventures. It comes in a titanium case combined with blue and contrasting icy white design details, finding inspiration in the colors of glaciers. The timepiece features a manufacture world-time complication developed by the Montblanc watchmakers in Villeret: two domed globes, turning in opposite directions, that complete a full rotation in 24 hours. Both are surrounded by a scale with the 24 time zones, along with a day and night indication in contrasting colors.; Automatic movement manufacture worldtime complication; Bi-directional turning bezel; Domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating; Blue dial; Sub dials: second time zone; worldtime with turning northern and southern hemisphere globes, day/night indication and dual-time indication; Luminescent Arabic numerals and indexes; Date display at 3 o'clock; Titanium and steel case; Blue Sfumato leather strap with white stitching; Folding clasp; Made in SwitzerlandFEATURES; Water-resistant to 10 ATMSIZE; Round case, 42mm (1.65")
