Fendi Box Bag Launches In New Nostalgic Colour

The design, inspired by packaging, follows suit of brands like Chanel that launched a paper bag-like leather bag. Other brands like Kenzo, H&M, Bvlgari x Alexander Wang and Peter Do x Medea then too jumped on the parcel looking bag trend by producing similar designs. The unique theme, humorous in nature is a good way to sell and a successful route for sticking out in a jam packed competitive fashion field. Italian brand Fendi, known for creating bags with fur detailing, began to extend its designs to more eco-friendly leather options, in line with the demand for sustainable fashion. The ready to wear collections form a string of innovative seasonal trials, with the relaunch of the lady-style Peekaboo being a part of this. The brand also took inspiration from packaging boxes, to its men’s collection, by launching a men’s package style handbag which turned out to be a major hit. Following on from this, the brand launched new colours, to cater to both men and women.

The newly launched nostalgic burnt orange, provides a retro feel and vintage look, similar to that of the classic Louis Vuitton Trunk. The colour is also the current bang on trend hue for the industry!

Fendi’s black toned version responds to the demand for a suitable colour option for men. It’s low key and rich in texture and a smart and suitable colour choice for the menswear market.
