SOME CELEBRITIES HAVE FOCUSED ON DEVELOPING SKICNARE PRODUCTS, AND RECEIVING A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT COMMENTS FROM USERS.
THE OUTSET – PERSONAL SKINCARE BRAND BY SCARLETT JOHANSSON
Being the mega-trend in recent years, Clean Beauty as a contemporary skincare concept boasts itself free of harmful substances and posing zero harm to the skin and nature alike. Recently, many skincare brands have released fully vegan skincare products especially catered for customers with sensitive skin. After having achieved worldwide fame by playing Black Widow, Scarlett Johansson teamed up with partner Kate Foster to introduce The Outset which offers 6 basic skincare products with the slogan “the start of you”. All 6 products, including facial cleansing foam, serum and cream, are made from Hyaluroset, a botanical alternative to hyaluronic acid which can provide the skin with sustained hydration and enhance its natural glow, and are suitable for sensitive skin.
KORA ORGANICS – ORGANIC SKINCARE BRAND BY MIRANDA KERR
As an Australian supermodel, and as the first Australian to become Victoria’s Secret Angel, Miranda Kerr’s mesmerizing beauty is beyond doubt. Launched in as early as 2010, Kora Organics was inspired by Miranda Kerr’s own notion of a healthy and positive life, as she aspires to help more people obtain healthy skin and self-confidence through the use of natural, organic skincare products. Miranda Kerr also devised a quick and simple four-step formula to improve the quality of the skin and keep it young and glowing through the use of hydration mist, vitamin C serum, face oil and hydrating moisturizer.
FLOWER BEAUTY – VEGAN SKINCARE BRAND BY DREW BARRYMORE
Also one of the early boss ladies venturing into the cosmetics business, Drew Barrymore first launched Flower Beauty focusing on makeup products, then later joining the skincare business in recent years. Self-nick named as Miss Face Mask, Drew Barrymore teamed up with Korean cosmetics brand Jayjun to introduce “Jayjun by Drew Barrymore” face masks, consisting of three functional masks for whitening, anti-wrinkle and detoxification to cater to different skincare needs.
This Power Up mask is a top-selling item on the official Flower Beauty website. The bio-cellulose mask ensures that the essence is fully absorbed into the skin, combining the three functions of hydration, repair and brightening. As this line of products is produced in Korea, no wonder the packaging has a Korean feel to it too!
