Valentino Launches Rockstud Pets - The Ultimate Ode To Your Furry Friend

It’s not new news that fashion people are obsessed with their pets. In fact, pets have become fashion icons in their own right, with owners dressing their animal friends in cute outfits especially for the ‘gram.

Finally, one designer who has picked up our pet obsession is Valentino, who has just released its Rockstud Pets collection. Working with the illustrator and artist Riccardo Cusiman, the collection allows shoppers to select a style from a range of Valentino Rockstud bags and customise it with an illustrated image of their pet's photo and their own initials.

You can choose from 3 different Rockstud bag styles, a large tote, a small tote, and a vertical tote and then pick your colour of choice from: Rose Quartz (a blush pink), Sheer Fuxia (fuchsia), Rosso V. (classic Valentino red), Noir (black), and Selleria (tan). Then, all you do is submit a photo of your pet (maximum 2 pets of any kind), and pick from 10 colour combinations, and voila! You sit back and wait for your design to arrive. The turnaround time is roughly said to be about 8 weeks.

Once it’s ready, your personalised Rockstud Pets bag can either be shipped directly to you or collected from selected Valentino boutiques globally. And what’s even better is that your personalised Rockstud Pets bag will arrive in special packaging with the V Logo and an illustration of a dog peeking out from the logo, on the box.

Art director Pierpaolo Piccioli was the first person to trial the customizable service, emblazing a tote with an image of one of his own pets. Making the perfect gift for any pet lover, we have a feeling that in the run up to holiday season these are going to sell out fast!
