The Mille Nuits collection – designed by Mathias for Baccarat – references the enchanting tales of The Arabian Nights in both its name and design; the designer’s grandmother read the stories to him as a child and they have served as a font of inspiration since his inaugural collection for the Maison. The line-up’s opulent candelabra sees an arrow-shaped crystal dangle from each arm, strikingly catching the light from every angle, while the candleholders are designed to resemble blossoming daffodils that emphasise every flicker and flare.
