What started as a dream became much more once Brunello Cucinelli established his eponymous brand in 1978 in Solomeo, Italy. Its first creation – and what the Casa di Moda is renowned for to this day – was the cashmere sweater, made from the most premium of fibres with an emphasis on the exquisite craftsmanship of local artisans.
