First introduced in circa 1901 following a public competition, Burberry’s Equestrian Knight Design is an enduring symbol of honour and reform, with the Prorsum Latin banner reflecting the House’s forward-looking spirit. Today, thanks to Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee’s revival of the emblem, it gives power to a host of contemporary designs, such as this double-faced wool-cashmere cape.
