Le Caillou Le Clos Du Caillou Chateauneuf-Du-Pape La Reserve 2016 – Rhone, France

The Grenache and Mourvedre grapes that go into the Le Clos du Caillou Chateauneuf-du-Pape La Reserve are handpicked at Caillou’s vineyard and naturally vinified in cement and wooden vats. Once pressed, the wine is aged in foudres and oak barrels for at least a year, resulting in a sultry, silken palate of black cherry and mulberry, accented with vanilla and rose petal notes.
