Originally debuted as a Player Exclusive in 2011, the Nike LeBron 9 Watch The Throne pays homage to Jay-Z and Ye's (formerly known as Kanye West) 2011 joint studio album Watch The Throne. A black mesh and carbon fiber upper provide a muted background, allowing gold detailing on the sculptural lace lock and Swoosh that references the Riccardo Tisci-designed album cover to shine. At the base, a semi-translucent Air Max sole offers stability and support.
